Brilliant design
It might come as no surprise that Super Mario 3D World has great level design. After all, most Mario games do. But the level design of this particular title does a great job of giving players a lot of variety, giving way to continuous action.
Perhaps the best thing about level design is that it promotes that great sense of discovery that fuels the best Mario games. Take the time to look around and you will always be rewarded with new outfits and other great secrets. That’s enough to get you back in the game long after you beat him.

For many Mario fans, Super Mario Bros. 3 was the best entry in the series. There are many reasons for this, but the one we hear the most is that players loved the different Mario “outfits” that radically changed the gameplay.
And Super Mario 3D World brings that tradition back in style. You’ll see some very familiar outfits, like Super Mario Bros. 3 fan favorite Tanooki outfit. But there are also great new outfits, including a new cat costume that is absolutely adorable.
As each suit changes the way you play, the game will constantly keep you on your toes. And each player will soon find their favorite suit, which is great when they play with other players.
