While not an official part of E3 2021, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest will take place today. Live streaming of this summer’s event will begin at 11am PT / 2pm ET on both YouTube and Twitch. You can stream the show live on YouTube below.
There will be some special entertainment, including special guests and musical artists including fan favorite band Weezer.
Geoff Keighley is best known as the creator and host of The Game Awards. Last year, he planned to skip E3 for the first time in 25 years. According to the Washington Post, this is because he felt “that E3 needs to evolve”.
E3 2020 was canceled, so Keighley’s Summer Game Fest became his alternative to E3. This festival offers various publishers and other game professionals a platform to discuss game development outside of E3.
