Capcom has revealed that it will be hosting a Resident Evil showcase next week, revealing new details about its upcoming titles.
According to the publisher, the Resident Evil themed event will take place on January 21 and will be hosted by Brittney Brombacher.
The statement, posted on Twitter by the company’s European account, also confirmed what fans can expect from the showcase. This will include a new Resident Evil Village trailer along with a gameplay reveal. Capcom also promises other news on Reisdent Evil.
While there is little indication at the moment as to what this extra news might be, it seems likely that Capcom will announce the release date of Resident Evil Village and perhaps show other games in the works as well.
Resident Evil Village, which serves as a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, is expected to launch in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
