The Asus ROG Phone 8 series is expected to launch in 2024 and we now have a certification listing for the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate which reveals that it will offer 65W fast charging. The latest certification listing from China’s 3C agency shows that the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate (ASUS_AI2401_A) will offer the same charging speeds as its predecessors. The bundled tariffs will support the PPS PD3.0 standard and the QC5 protocol. ROG Phone 8 (ASUS_AI2401_A) and ROG Phone 8 Pro (ASUS_AI2401_E) recently appeared in the IMEI database.

The ROG Phone 8 series is expected to launch with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, lots of RAM, and a high refresh rate AMOLED screen. The software side is expected to include Android 14 with ROG UI on top. We don’t have any other details for now so we’ll have to wait for more details to emerge.
