The Nothing (1) phone will be sold via an invitation system. How do I get an invitation? Well, join the pre-order waiting list, here’s how.
Private community members are receiving their invitation codes today. If you are not among them, you can sing here if you are in Europe or here if you are in India to get a place in the queue. You can go up that queue by referring friends (well, only go up if they sign up too). At the time of writing, there are already over 20,000 fans queuing.

Once your turn has come, you will receive an email with the invitation code and you will need to act within 48 hours. This requires a £ 20 non-refundable deposit, but you will receive an extra £ 20 credit for your problem to spend on the phone (1) or ear (1).
All of this builds up until July 12, when Nothing will actually start taking orders – everything up until then was just a game for position. The £ 20 deposit will be deducted from the price of the phone – we should note that we don’t know what it will be yet. You will still have 14 days to confirm the order.
Nothing indicates that phone supplies (1) will be limited at first, so this invite system is a way for community members to jump ahead of everyone else. That way fans should have the new phone a couple of weeks before anyone else can get one.
As some of you may recall, OnePlus One (the first phone launched by Carl Pei’s old company) became available in June 2014 via an invitation system. The company celebrated its first birthday in December of that year, making the Uno freely available. It is unclear how long the Nothing invitation system will last, it probably depends on how quickly the company’s production reaches demand.
