Following the leaked Pixel 7a live images shared over the weekend, comes a new batch of images of the budget Pixel phone. We can see that Pixel 7a looks quite similar to Pixel 7 Vanilla with a punch hole display, slightly curved glass back and camera visor. The bezels of the phone are substantial and feel thicker than the Pixel 7’s helix.

The device in the new images carries the model number GHL1X and we have confirmation that it contains 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM made by Samsung and a 128GB storage module (presumably UFS 3.1) from SK Hynix/Micron. The new images also show the USB-C port on the bottom and a single SIM slot.

The rest of the specs include a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Google’s internal Tensor G2 chipset, a 64MP main camera (IMX787) and a 12MP ultrawide module. The device is also expected to bring 5W wireless charging, a first for the Pixel a series. Google Pixel 7a is expected to launch at the Google I/O 2023 conference in May.
