As we said yesterday, Google can’t seem to contain the excitement for the upcoming versions of Pixel devices. Either by posting them on your website, or by posting very revealing teaser videos. There were two yesterday, with one showing some quick glimpses of the Pixel Watch 2, while the other basically shot the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro from all possible angles.
So, if you’ve been looking at it and want the Pixel Watch 2 to get the exact same treatment, you’re in luck because that’s exactly what Google has done this time around. After yesterday’s “Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Preview” video, we now have a preview of the Google Pixel Watch 2. Here it is.
We want to reiterate that the resemblance to the first generation Pixel Watch is decidedly uncanny. The only noticeable new feature, aside from a slight redesign of the crown, is “IP68” lettering on the back, which means that, unlike its predecessor, this one too will be protected from dust.
Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 will become official (well, Moreover official anyway) at a special event in New York on October 4th. Pre-orders will begin the same day.
