Honor unveiled the Play 30 Plus last December in China and may soon announce the vanilla version, which has been certified by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

Honor Play 30 (VNE-ANOO) is listed on the Chinese certification authority’s website with most of its specs, including a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 6.51-inch HD + TFT screen, and a battery with a nominal capacity of 4,900 mAh.

The smartphone has four RAM options (4/6/8/12 GB) and three storage options (64/128/256 GB) and also supports memory expansion up to 512 GB via microSD card.

The Honor Play 30 has a dual-camera setup on the back consisting of 13MP and 5MP units, but the resolution of the selfie shooter is unknown.

The Play 30 supports 5G networks and 10W charging and will be available in blue, black, silver and gold. It is 8.68 mm thick and weighs 194 grams.

The MIIT list does not include images of the Honor Play 30, so we don’t know what it looks like, but it shouldn’t be long before Honor launches its promotional campaign, confirming the design of the smartphone and some features in the process.
