Honor has announced its latest X-series smartphone with the X8b, which offers solid specs for a midranger with plenty of storage and a 108MP main camera. Honor X8b offers a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. The panel also features a pill-shaped cutout called Magic Capsule that provides system and status notifications. There is a 50MP front camera which also has its own flash.
Despite its 6.7-inch screen, the Honor X8b is only 6.78 mm thick and weighs just 166 grams. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB storage sizes. The rear houses a 108MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the software side it is covered by MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 while the battery reaches 4,500 mAh and supports 35W charging.

Honor X8b is available in Glamorous Green, Titanium Silver and Midnight Black colors. Prices in Malaysia start at MYR 999 ($213) for the 8/128GB version. The device is also listed in Saudi Arabia for SAR 799 ($213).
