Realme is expected to launch GT5 Pro as its first real flagship in quite a while. Yesterday the company unveiled a 3,000 nit screen, and today Realme said that “a new era of low-light telephoto imaging” is coming.
The statement was made by the company CMO on Weibo, but he did not explain what he meant by that. In another post he said the company hit 240W fast charging with the GT5, but now it’s time for a “new peak flash charge” in the same gear.
We expect higher capacity and reports suggest a 5,400mAh cell, which would be the largest ever seen on a Realme flagship.

Posters promising a new era for low-light telephoto lenses and battery charging
Realme is expected to use the 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor for the telephoto lens, and leaked images have revealed a periscope lens up front.
The GT5 Pro will have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to help it from a computational photography perspective, so it’s reasonable to expect it to be the most powerful Realme cameraphone yet. We have to wait for the phone to arrive to see in real life whether it will hold ground on the “new age” claims.
