Two families of smartphones go on sale this week: the Poco F8 duo and three Pixel 10 phones. The Pocos offer faster chipsets and bigger batteries, while the Pixels are first in line for new Android features.
A couple of weeks ago, a 16/512 GB Poco F8 Ultra was sold for 750 euros. Now it costs the same, but Amazon has also restocked the 12/256GB variant, which costs €680. The Ultra has a large 6.9-inch 12-bit, 120Hz OLED display, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and boasts a 6,500mAh battery (18:52 hours active usage score) with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
It is also equipped with quality camera hardware: the main 50 MP has a 1/1.31″ sensor, there is a 50 MP 5x/115 mm periscope and a 50 MP ultra-wide (102°), as well as a 32 MP selfie camera. The sound system is also noteworthy with 2.1-channel Bose speakers (yes, the phone has a built-in woofer).

The Poco F8 Pro is the more affordable model: you can consult our detailed article between Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra for an in-depth comparison. In short, it has a smaller 6.59″ 12-bit, 120Hz OLED display, a 6,210mAh (5.35pm) battery with 100W wired-only charging, and last year’s flagship Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The camera system consists of a 50MP 1/1.55″ main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens 2.5x/60 mm and an 8 MP. ultra-wide.
Keep in mind that the 512GB Pro version costs the same as the 256GB version – this is a timed deal and may expire by the time you read this. Check, though, as the 512GB model not only has double the storage, but it also has 4 gigs of extra RAM. This is a truly great upgrade to get at no additional cost.

You can pick up a Google Pixel 10 for $800. It uses the same Tensor G5 and the same 6.3-inch display size as the Pixel 10 Pro (same size, but lower resolution, and it’s not an LTPO panel).
The phone combines a 48 MP 1/2.0″ main camera with a 13 MP ultra-wide one and, for the first time on a vanilla Pixel, a dedicated telephoto camera – a 10.8 MP 5x/112 mm module. The 4,970 mAh battery achieves an active usage score of 12:08 hours (disappointing for its size) and supports 30W wired charging plus 15W wireless charging W.

You should also consider the more capable Pixel Pro models, although they will cost you. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is at a solid $350 off, making its price more palatable. It features a large 6.8-inch LTPO display and a 5,200mAh battery that earned an active usage rating of 12:29 hours.
The Pro XL also has more powerful cameras than the vanilla model, including a 50MP 1/1.31” main, 48MP 5x/113mm periscope and 48MP ultra-wide, plus a 42MP selfie with ultra-wide lens.

Unfortunately, the 256GB variant of the Pixel 10 Pro is sold out, while the 512GB version costs essentially the same as the Pro XL version. However, if you want a smaller phone, this one offers a 6.3″ display (1280p+ LTPO vs 1080p+ LTPS on the vanilla Pixel 10) and a 4,870 mAh battery (12:06h). The cameras are the same as the Pro XL.
