OnePlus today unveiled the Ace 3 smartphone and also launched its new TWS wearables called Buds 3. The new audio accessory features a dual-driver design, active noise cancellation up to 49 dB, and an ultra-lightweight body.

The Buds 3 look a lot like the Buds 2 Pro, but the earbuds here are slightly shinier. Inside, OnePlus has used the same dual-driver solution seen in its Pro earbuds, which should offer rich audio output.

Noise cancellation is available in several modes, with 10dB and 20dB as intermediate options before the big jump to 49dB. There is an intelligent mode that automatically recognizes the environment and adapts ANC levels. The buds have rubber tips, to help with sound insulation.

The Buds 3 have a touch-sensitive area on the outside of the stem. There are three microphones, and OnePlus says the AI helps reduce noise during calls. The earbuds themselves are IP55 certified and are incredibly light, weighing just 4.8 grams each. The battery of the earphones is 58 mAh, while the case is 520 mAh.

Pre-orders are live at the Oppo store in China, with sales scheduled to begin on January 8th. OnePlus Buds 3 are available in black or blue and cost CNY 500, or $63/€57.
