OnePlus had scheduled an event in China today to introduce the Ace Pro. However, the company announced that it had postponed the launch event and related activities without specifying any reason or setting a new launch date.
This OnePlus announcement comes after US House of Representatives spokesperson Nancy Pelosi landed in Taiwan, escalating tensions between the US and China as China views Taiwan as its territory.

OnePlus isn’t the only brand to cancel its launch event in China. Yesterday, Motorola also canceled its Razr 2022 and X30 Pro launch event. The Lenovo-owned brand did not provide the new launch date or specify the reason for the event cancellation. Although it could be due to mounting tensions in the Asian region.
That said, while OnePlus has postponed its Ace Pro event in China, the company is moving forward with the presentation of the OnePlus 10T, which is expected to be the Ace Pro for international markets with OxygenOS instead of ColorOS. The event will start today at 14:00 UTC and will be broadcast in live streaming on the official OnePlus channels.
