Depending on where you live, this phone could be called Oppo Reno7 5G or Oppp Find X5 Lite. Either way, it goes against current trends and adds a microSD slot and 3.5mm jack to its predecessor’s spec sheet – this is a proven way to curry favor with fans. Our video review covers these and other updates and how the phone compares to other mid-range ones:

As Will explains, the Reno7 5G comes around six months after the Reno6 5G, so it’s a relatively mild upgrade. In addition to the above, Oppo has enabled HDR10 + on the 90Hz AMOLED display and doubled the base memory to 256GB. And while these are nice improvements, we wish Oppo had pre-installed a newer version of ColorOS, this one is based on Android 11. Some water resistance would have been nice too.

Here you are! A microSD slot on the Oppo Reno7 5G (aka Oppo Find X5 Lite)
