The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is one of the most anticipated devices of the year so far and our video review is out now. Xiaomi has gone all out with the latest Ultra model, a worthy rival to the recent crop of Android flagship phones and offers a stellar screen, class-leading cameras, and great sustained performance.
The 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display is excellent with sharp QHD resolution, and it gets very bright too, up to 1,200 nits in auto mode. We also liked the 13 Ultra’s two-tone design with the tactile leather back offering just the right amount of grip and protection.
Moving on to the cameras, where Xiaomi has arguably crammed the most comprehensive imaging hardware ever packed into a smartphone featuring that 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor and dual aperture diaphragm. Shots from the main cam are top-notch both day and night and the same goes for the telephoto and ultrawide modules. The front-facing camera leaves a lot to be desired, and low-light video is underexposed and soft-looking.
