In October, the upcoming Poco Pad M1 was certified and today it was spotted in the Geekbench AI database. This revealed the fact that it is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The prototype that ran the benchmark booted Android 15, which unfortunately means the final product might too, even though Android 16 has been out since June.
Now, if you’re wondering what to expect from this tablet regarding the rest of its specs, a tipster on X reiterates the previously rumored fact that it will simply be a rebranded Redmi Pad 2 Pro.

The tablet launched in September with the same chipset, a 12.1-inch 1600×2560 LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 128/256GB of storage, an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, and a 12,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.
It’s unclear when we should expect the launch of the Poco Pad M1, but it looks like the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra could become official in the coming weeks, and so it makes sense that the tablet will join them. We will keep you updated.
