The Poco X7 Pro was launched in January last year, so its successor is definitely coming very soon. In fact the Poco X8 Pro was already certified in July. Now a new certification reveals that there will be a special edition of the phone: the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, no doubt in collaboration with Marvel.
This device has been certified for sale in Thailand by NBTC. Its model number is 2511FPC34G. The Poco X8 Pro is said to be based on the Redmi Turbo 5, which is expected to be unveiled in China this month. Presumably there will also be a Poco X8 Pro Max, which will be renamed Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
As such, expect these models to feature “1.5K” resolution touchscreens, as well as a massive 9,000 mAh battery in some places (but most likely not in Europe due to transportation regulations). The Poco X8 Pro could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 SoC, while the X8 Pro Max could be paired with the Dimensity 9500.
