Samsung Galaxy S24 phones may come with an added shortcut for Instagram Camera on the lock screen. The feature was revealed by Alessandro Paluzzia user on social media X, where he revealed a screenshot.
Currently, only system apps are allowed on the lock screen (with small exceptions): music, weather, alarms, routines. The social media widget could be part of One UI 6.1, once it arrives alongside the Galaxy S24 series.
You are expected to see a popup when you open Instagram for the first time. You will then need to allow access to the Instagram camera and there is a central button with “More options…”.
