Next month, Samsung will host the Galaxy Unpacked event in South Korea to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, where it is also expected to make the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic official. Last month we got our first look at the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, which has now appeared in official look images with the Vanilla Watch6, showcasing the smartwatches in different colors.


Samsung Galaxy Watch6 • Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic
The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 will be available in silver, black and beige colors in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic, on the other hand, will be available in 43mm and 47mm sizes with two color options – Black and Silver. However, we may see Samsung introduce more colors later.

Samsung has used sapphire glass for both smartwatches and they will also have 5 ATM water resistance and LTE connectivity. The images shared by the source reveal that the 40mm model of the Galaxy Watch6 with LTE connectivity will have the model code SM-R935F, while the 44mm version has the model designation SM-R945F. The 44m variant without LTE connectivity will have the model number SM-R940.

The 43mm version of the Galaxy Watch6 Classic with and without LTE connectivity will have the model designations SM-R955F and SM-R950, respectively.

The Watch6 and Watch6 Classic will be powered by the Exynos W930 SoC, with the Classic model featuring a physical rotating bezel. Today’s renders also show the Classic model with leather straps and a regular pin buckle, while previously leaked images showed it with a silicone strap and magnetic closure.

Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at the end of July, but has yet to confirm the date. Rumors state that it will take place on July 26. Regardless, we’ll probably hear more about the Galaxy Watch6 series as we get closer to the event.
