We’ve read several reports stating that Samsung’s foldables will launch early this year, possibly at the end of July. And while no one has given an exact date, South Korean publication Chosun Media says Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 on July 26, with sales starting on August 11.
The publication also claims that Samsung will host the Unpacked event to unveil these foldables in Seoul, South Korea this time instead of the US.

Furthermore, citing an industry insider, the source said the reason for the leaflet unveiling earlier this year is the sluggish performance of Samsung’s semiconductor business, making it important for the Korean conglomerate’s mobile division to have good results.

Launching the Galaxy Fold5 and Galaxy Flip5 earlier than usual will create enough of a gap between the foldables and Apple’s iPhone 15 range, which is expected to go official in September, which could help Samsung outsell its foldable smartphones.
