Both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 have been the subject of rumors, leaks and speculation for months at this point, yet neither device is official. That may finally change later this month.

According to famous (and prolific) leakster @OnLeaks, a “pretty reliable source” says the two devices will be unveiled on March 15th. It’s unclear at this point whether Samsung will hold an event to mark the occasion or simply issue a press release and be done with it. The former may be more appropriate, however, as the A5x series is Samsung’s best-selling.

According to previous rumors, the Galaxy A54 will sport a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, the Exynos 1380 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 5MP macro shot, a 32MP selfie snapper and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support. It will be IP67 certified and still have a 3.5mm headphone jack .

The Galaxy A34 is said to feature a 6.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera , a 5MP macro cam, a depth sensor and a 13MP selfie shooter. Battery-wise it’s identical to its sibling, boasting a 5,000mAh cell that charges at up to 25W. Both devices will ship with Android 13 pre-installed under Samsung’s One UI 5.x skin.
