Samsung has teased and confirmed that its first foldable smartphone will launch this year, but we have yet to see an official launch date for the device. It looks like we won’t have to wait much longer, according to a new report The Herald of Korea suggests the next-generation foldable is expected to debut at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit later this week. The summit will take place from October 31 to November 1 in Gyeongju, South Korea.

Samsung has yet to decide on the product name for its triple fold. Rumors suggest that it could be called Galaxy G Fold or Galaxy Z TriFold. Availability of the device will be extremely limited, as Samsung reportedly only plans to produce 50,000 to 200,000 units during the initial production phase.
And with a launch price of $2,800, Samsung’s triple fold would be $1,000 more than the launch price of the Galaxy Z Fold7. It will be available in select markets according to previous reports, with China, South Korea, the US and the UAE making the cut.
