Two new Tecno phones debuted today: Pova 4 and Pova 4 Pro. The two share the Helio G99 chipset and large 6,000mAh battery and the Pro adds an OLED screen and faster charging.
Pova 4 and Pova 4 Pro will only be available in Bangladesh for now, but we expect the duo to hit other markets soon.
Tecno Pova 4 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It is built around a 6.82-inch LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate and has HD + resolution. There is a teardrop notch for the 8MP camera.
There are two other cameras on the back: the main shooter has a 50MP sensor, but there is no information on the second. We can safely assume an auxiliary 2 MP sensor for depth or macro. There is also a dual LED flash on the side.
The 6,000mAh battery is limited to a charging speed of 18W. Other highlights include Android 12, stereo speakers, NFC, and FM radio. The phone is available in Uranolith Gray or Fluorite Blue colors, while prices are to be announced.
Tecno Pova 4
The Pova 4 Pro sports the same Helio G99 chipset, but has a smaller 6.66-inch AMOLED with Full HD + resolution and Tecno has kept the 90Hz refresh rate feature. storage is 256GB and is further expandable via microSD cards.
The cameras remain unchanged: an 8MP selfie shooter, a 50MP main one, and an unconfirmed shooter, likely a portrait lens.
Another key upgrade to the Pova 4 Pro is the 45W charging for the 6,000mAh battery. Comes with 10W reverse charging.
Tecno Pova 4 Pro
Tecno offers the Pova 4 Pro in only one color: Fluorite Blue. The price is set at 26,900 BDT which is approximately $ 260. Availability dates have yet to be confirmed.
