It seems that Spotify Hifi could fall into the near future, if you believe the latest losses.
Spicetify, which is a control line interface tool for the Spotify desktop client, has published multiple images on its social media account that mention this imminent function in the last update V1.2.66.

To begin with, the most obvious tribute is the presence of a new option within the audio quality drop -down menu, which includes a setting without loss that can provide audio up to 24 bits/44.1khz in Flac. Omboarding for the app also includes audio mentions without loss for Premium subscribers.
In addition to Lossless, it seems that Spotify also has some new audio features in the sleeve, which, if combined with a compatible pair of headphones, claims to offer “cleaner and natural sound”. Dig further in the code also revealed mentions of space audio without further processing.
What is not visible in these screenshots is what technology is used for space audio, as specific codecs are not mentioned as Dolby Atmos. Spotify has announced its hifi function without loss until the beginning of 2021.
