Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K60 series late last year and with 2023 almost over, the K70 series should be just around the corner. And now we know what the base model will look like, thanks to leaked renders.

The Xiaomi Redmi K70 is shown here in white. The company’s design language has swung back and forth: the K60 had a rectangular camera island tucked into the corner with three lenses in-line, the K70 sports an island that runs the width of the phone and has four elements forming a square (three cameras and an LED flash). This isn’t just a decal, the island actually sticks out from the back.

This large camera island makes the Redmi K70 look very similar to Poco. By the way, the global market never had a version of the K60, but the Poco F5 Pro came close. So, we’re not sure if the K70 will get a global release, but a fairly similar phone probably will.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the phone. A benchmark result of the Redmi K70 Pro has emerged with what should be the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (you can see it from the 5 central cores). In fact, the K60 Pro used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the vanilla K60 had the slightly older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
