Apple and Ericsson are ending a years-long patent feud that began with a new licensing deal between the two companies. According to a new report by ReutersEricsson announced it has reached a global patent licensing agreement with Apple that includes “global cross-licenses for patented essential standard cellular technologies.”

The new licensing deal comes after years of patent litigation between Apple and Ericsson. In 2015, Apple sued Ericsson for allegedly claiming excessive royalties for LTE technology. That same year, Ericsson and Apple settled their dispute. Fast forward to this year, Apple and Ericsson are suing each other over 5G patents and equipment.

The settlement settles all pending patent litigation between the parties.

Under the new deal, Ericsson’s fourth-quarter forecasts for intellectual property rights (including Apple and others) are estimated at SEK 5.0 to 5.5 billion ($530.3 million – $578.5 Millions of dollars).
