Google will announce its Pixel 8 series tomorrow and we’ve already seen countless leaks, but here’s another one. M Brandon Lee This is Tech Today shared several images of the Pixel 8 Pro with the Device Info HW and AIDA64 apps revealing detailed specs about the new Tensor G3 chip.

The Tensor G3 features a 9-core CPU with one Cortex-X3 prime core clocked at 2.91GHz, 4 Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.37GHz, and 4 Cortex-A510 cores humming at 1.7GHz The other notable aspect is the Mali-G715 GPU and 12GB of RAM. Tensor G3 is based on Samsung’s 4nm process technology and incorporates the FO-WLP packaging process which is expected to result in lower heat generation and better power efficiency than Tensor G2.

Pixel 8 Pro with AIDA64
Apart from the chipset details, the latest leak also confirms a Goodix optical fingerprint scanner integrated into the display panel. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to launch with a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate. The rear will feature a 50MP primary camera along with a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a new 48 MP ultrawide camera.
On the software side it should be managed by Android 14 and the device will be available in Obsidian, Sky Blue and Porcelain colors. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to start at $899 in the US and £999 in the UK.
