One of the main changes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 made from last year was the selfie camera under the display, and Samsung is aiming to improve it further on the Fold4. A Twitter tip that has since been deleted reveals an official presentation slide outlining progress in the area.
The new approach involves the use of scattered subpixels, improving the screen resolution above by about 40%: the pixel density will go from 94 ppi to 132 ppi.

This would inevitably make the selfie camera less visible when there is an image or text on it. It’s unclear whether it will impact image quality, but that camera is still primarily meant for video calling. However, we will make sure to check how it works after the official release on August 10th.
