The Xiaomi 15 series will premiere the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite on the market. The announcement came the day after Qualcomm unveiled its new flagship chipset at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 in Hawaii.
Senior Vice President Adam Zeng (Zeng Xuezhong) announced this during his few minutes on stage.
Xiaomi is expected to introduce the 15 series tomorrow, October 23. It is likely that it will only launch the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro initially, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will arrive later, perhaps in early 2025.
The Xiaomi 15 series will initially be China-only, but we expect the vanilla 15 and 15 Ultra models to make their global debut in early 2025.
