Samsung has already confirmed that next week is extending the availability of One UI 8 Beta based on the Android 16 family to the Galaxy S24 family and the Galaxy S23 devices next month. But, unfortunately, the Korean company has not deepened further details: she stopped providing real launch dates.
It is here that a tipter on X comes into play, claiming to have the exact dates for both launches. So, according to him, the Galaxy S24 devices will have access to EI 8 Beta on August 13, while Galaxy S23 phones will have to wait until 8 September.
These are the temporary dates for now, but apparently Samsung “loves surprises” and therefore can release the beta for the oldest flagships one or two days before.
As for the stable version of one UI 8, it is hoped that it will be released on the Galaxy S25 models at some point next month. The oldest devices will get it later, in reverse order of the release of the phones (therefore the most recent ones get it faster and so on).
