Twitter announced that it now supports “mixed media,” which means users can upload up to four videos, photos, and even GIFs in the same tweet.

The feature will only be available through the app for Android and iOS. Twitter believes the visual content combination “allows creators to express beyond the 280 character limit,” but because it is not yet available on desktop, it will restrict corporate and other user accounts, relying on third-party publishing platforms.

There is no limit to how the content can be consumed – anyone can read and watch the tweets and accompanying media, regardless of whether they are on the desktop website or mobile website or any official or unofficial app.
