The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will in fact have a Leica logo on the back, right above the camera configuration.
A rear panel image was shared by a prolific leakster Digital chat station on Weibo along with the confirmation that Leica will put its logo on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
This will be the first time a phone will wear the iconic logo, outside of Leica’s rather exclusive Leitz 1 phone.
Furthermore, Digital Chat Station has confirmed the information that the rear panel of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be in black leather or white ceramic. The skin reportedly has a palpable texture.
As for the camera specs, the XIaomi 12 Ultra will have the same specs as the triple camera on the back: 50MP 24mm wide camera, 48MP 120mm periscope zoom, and 48MP 12mm ultrawide.
When Xiaomi and Leica announced their partnership, they anticipated that the first product with a Leica brand will arrive in July. We will see if it is the Xiaomi 12 Ultra or the 12S.
