Built-in active cooling fans are currently all the rage in China, with many manufacturers producing devices that feature them. And now it seems Xiaomi is working on its own device with a fan, according to Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
This device will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC and will have a screen with a “1.5K” resolution and an “ultra-high” refresh rate (though not further detailed). The fan will be part of the camera island and the entire phone will have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance despite the presence of the fan.

Redmi K80Ultra
This phone is most likely the next Redmi K90 Ultra, based on the chipset it uses (previous K-series Ultras were all compatible with MediaTek’s latest and greatest). If we actually talk about the Redmi K90 Ultra, a previous rumor claimed that it would have a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, very rounded corners, a metal frame, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a battery capacity of at least 8,000 mAh.
