Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade final trailer is out today. And it gives us our best look at this PS5 exclusive title, including more of Yuffie and her struggles.

Intergrade is a package that includes both FF7 Remake and FF7R EPISODE INTERmission (new story content with Yuffie).

INTERmission is all about Yuffie Kisaragi and her partner Sonon Kusakabe and what they were doing in Midgar before joining Cloud and his crew. This should be of interest to longtime fans of the franchise because in the original game, Yuffie only joined Cloud long after leaving Midgard behind her.

But what are these characters really doing in the big city? It appears they are infiltrating a Shinra installation to have a confrontation with weapons guru Shinra Scarlet.

There are a lot of interesting details hidden in the trailer. We have our first taste of Ramuh’s summoning and a look at a tactical minigame based on (but very distinct from) the original Fort Condor minigame.

Perhaps the strangest part of the trailer is our glimpse of Nero, a masked character who was a villain in the forgettable 2006 PS2 game Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. His presence could indicate that Square Enix wants to bring together different elements of their shared FF7 universe for this new generation of games.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be released exclusively on PS5 on June 10th. However, the exclusivity window is limited to six months, so don’t be surprised if you eventually see this package on other platforms.
