How to block unwanted calls on WhatsApp
These months, for WhatsApp, have been nothing short of important in terms of renewal. In fact, the platform has already implemented new functions and will continue to do so in the coming months. Among the topics that Meta has put at the center of attention is that of privacy which, following some recent implementations, has increased more and more.
WhatsApp guarantees many ways to protect yourself from strangers and malicious people, one way is to block phone calls from numbers that you don’t have in your address book. Speaking of personal safety, this option can be activated by going to the settings and then selecting the item “Privacy“.
In the section “Privacy” we scroll the screen until we find the option “Calls“. Once we get here, all we have to do is turn on the switch “Mute calls from unknown numbers“. Below the function, it is specified that calls from unknown numbers will be silenced but will appear in the calls tab and in notifications.
By activating this function, therefore, there will be no sound or visual alerts from the application, but we could check who has attempted to reach us by phone via the appropriate WhatsApp tab.
