But now it seems that things have been resolved in the right direction, so much so that the team is working on some innovations which, however, raise doubts.

Until now, all users who made a mistake in the text of a message in a chat had two options: delete the message and write it over again, or correct the sentence or word by adding an asterisk. Both of these practices will disappear very soon to accommodate the change text on whatsapp.
In fact, users will be able to easily correct the text written within the instant messaging app. To do this, just press on the text and then select the item “Edit”, just like Telegram. But you have to be very careful, because this feature has an expiration date.
Once the message has been edited, the recipient will be delivered the well written text, but with the heading “Edited”, thus alerting the other person that the original text has been changed, but without seeing the history of changes. Precisely this function was not well received by all, given that most users asked to change the text without notifying others of the changes.
But it doesn’t end there. The WhatsApp update wants it to be possible edit the text within 15 minutes of sending after that it will no longer be possible to do so. A novelty that could be launched in the coming weeks and will be available to all users. An update that adds to that of Chat Lock, where you can hide your WhatsApp chats.
