Earlier this month, Samsung opened the public beta for Android 13-based One UI 5 for the Galaxy S22 series, and today it’s now available for Galaxy S21 devices as well. So far, the beta program appears to have started for these in Korea and the UK.
To register, you need to use the Samsung Members app, locate the One UI 5.0 beta program banner highlighted in it, tap it and register the data and the device. Once done, it normally only takes a few minutes until you receive an update notification.
The beta in question is labeled as build G99xBXXU5ZVHE, where “x” differs based on which of the S21 trio you have. If you are in the UK and want to try this, please note that the beta version is currently only available for SIM unlocked units. It is unclear when it will come to the operator models.
There are sure to be plenty of other beta builds for One UI 5.0, and if you’re signed up for the test program you’ll receive each of these as soon as it’s released, as an over-the-air update.
