The Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro are coming, and will be made official at the company’s big event on April 18, together with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone.
We have seen a steady stream of information about these incoming tablets over the last few days and today is the time to tackle batteries and charging. According to some new information from a couple of whistleblowers from China’s Weibo, the Pad 6 Pro will have an 8,600mAh battery with 67W wired charging, just like its predecessor, the Pad 5 Pro. On the other hand, the Vanilla Pad 6 has an 8,840mAh battery with 33W charging.
The company itself has already confirmed that the Pad 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the Pad 6 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The Pad 6 is expected to arrive with an 11″ 120Hz LCD display, while the Pro could turn it into an AMOLED, while the Pro model will also have a 50MP main camera on the back.
Unfortunately, according to past rumors, the Pad 6 Pro is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market – only the Vanilla Pad 6 will presumably make it to international markets, including India.
