Computer engineer from Italy, passionate about mobile and pc gaming. I sometimes do some memory hacking on mobile but I must admit I'm quite a beginner at it. Despite my background the deep art of hacking and modding requires some skills and knowledge that I still miss, so I'm here to learn as much as I can.
I would like to address online server-sided mobile games and learn about the tools and approaches used to hack such games on the client side (I know GameGuardian but maybe other tools exist that need to be used along with it in order to achieve a hack), the approaches used to analyse the game and find loopholes which can lead to your goal, the techniques used by developers to hide/encrypt data (like item count, unlocked characters) and the tools and approaches to find and edit such data on the client without compromise the integrity of the game and risk a ban. Any direction to guides and tutorials I can use to start learning this stuff is more than welcome. I guess I also need some more technical background on mobile games, I usually read that the game lib needs to be deobfuscated for it to be edited, and editing it is often needed to hack a game and make a modded apk, but I know nothing about this topic on mobile. Finally, after becoming good at it, it would be a great achievement for me to release a fully working mod apk on this forum, hopefully the first of many.
It is almost the end of the year and I wish I had found this forum earlier, but I guess it is never too late to join the dark side
