OMG, you guys, I just stumbled upon this insanely addictive game called "Dev Tycoon 2" and I am totally hooked!
Seriously, if you’re into simulation games where you get to build your own video game empire, this is your jam. I’ve been playing it nonstop, and it’s like I’ve found my new guilty pleasure.
I started out with this tiny, almost garage-like game studio, and now I’m running a full-blown game development company! The whole process of designing games, hiring staff, and managing resources is so satisfying. You get to choose everything—from the genre of the game to the type of graphics, and watching your creations come to life is just epic.
Sometimes I feel like a real-life game designer... minus the stress of real-world deadlines, lol.
The thing that really got me is how realistic some aspects are. I read a review from another player who said they learned a ton about project management and budgeting just by playing, and I’m totally feeling that too.
