Ok, perhaps am doing something wrong? I installed the game quite normally as I do others. I tap on the game icon and it does not even load, just takes me to a blank screen :-(

Uninstall the game again and re install but this time don't open it
Download the obb from above
Place it on the sdcard/android/obb
Run the game

That's a lot better guide, nowhere does it say in the OP that you need to download obb file and place in android/obb

I've never had a problem installing mods over GP's versions. Signed or unsigned. How I always skip the obb step. Hate 'em, lol. However, I did try the other way and still get a force close.
