I tried it. I was disappointed by it. since the mod only works when offline. If you go online with it you are redirected to update the version. If you update the version it kicks you out of many of the old features that were once available (like gems over 5000. use of the trade boat, use of chat, use of new events that require team participation) Even though it has been updated per say in the games section there is a deep mix up between being updated unlimited and just update to the newest version. some of the mod elements are not usable and this very well can be because in May 2021 Zynga changed the game and fixed the glitch that allowed unlimited modding. and capped the gems at 5000. where as at the time of the original version of the game a regular player could purchase 99999999 gems at the play store or via zynga came cards

I know. I dearly love tropic escape. I play it regularly. Wish I remembered how to male it a mod. I been playing it for several years. Since before they caught the glitch and limited gems to 5000. As I have a couple truly unlimited islands myself. Newest version is 1.150. According to google play.
