Today Fitbit officially unveiled its “fall lineup,” updating its two high-end smartwatches alongside the Inspire 3 fitness tracker. The Google-owned company has chosen to subtly evolve the Versa 4 and Sense 2 designs, opting to avoid any revolutionary changes this year in that department. Well, unless you count the physical button replacing last year’s capacitive one.
The theme practically continues inside as well. Compared to its predecessor, the Sense 2 gets all-day stress management thanks to its new continuous EDA sensor. This can make you aware of potential stress triggers and create a stress management routine that builds resilience over time. In addition to the Versa 4, it has 40 training modes (double the previous number), GPS, and over 1,000 training and awareness sessions hidden behind the Fitbit Premium paywall. This also gives you more detailed sleep tracking and daily availability score that lets you know “when to push hard or take a day off” and it looks like Fitbit has no plans to cancel the paid subscription.
None of these devices run Wear OS, as they were likely already in development when Google’s acquisition of Fitbit took place.
