Wow you're fast! Will edit this reply to say it works or not
EDIT 5: I had 58 Gems and clicked the speed-up-the-Mission-thing which cost 100 Gems, and it worked! So, basically, everything works, you don't even have to wait for Missions (or Quests, as I see now you've called them).
EDIT 4: first APK now works for me. Gems decrease when buying the-thing-that-makes-me-play-Mission-faster-instead-of-waiting-8-hours (whatever the name for that thing is), though. But Energy is free

EDIT 3: I do indeed still have to wait for the missions that require gems, or spend the gems I have. But oh well. (This is on APK #2, reason below)
EDIT 2: APK #2 does work, but is obviously not the newest version so I just have to click cancel every time I open the game (a trade-off I am willing to take of course for getting Unlimited Energy). Can't check the Unlimited Gems yet though, because I don't have a Mission with waiting time.
EDIT: Sadly it won't start. Goes black as if to start the game, then stops and says this:
