After the detailed renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 that surfaced the other day, it’s now time to see the Galaxy Z Flip5 up close. Though it’s important to note that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Z Flip5 in renders.

The new batch of images confirms the folder-shaped external display on the Flip5, but also shows a flatter-than-usual side bezel. The one render we saw last week depicted the same chassis design as the current Flip4, while the new ones show a completely flat design. And to match the new shape of the external display, camera alignment is now horizontal instead of vertical.

Also, the rumors of the new hinge design may turn out to be true. From what we can see on these renders, the gap between the two halves of the phone is almost non-existent. There is obviously a change in the design of the hinge – it now looks flatter. Perhaps that is why Samsung has opted for the flat bezel this time around.
