How do I compile a file to APK?

I want to compile a zip/File Folder into an APK but when I try to do it via Lucky Patcher , clicking rebuild does nothing. What did I do wrong?

EDIT: I got a little further, since I posted this, the APK looks perfect but when I try to install it it says "There was a problem parsing the package."

To be clear, I modified a CoG game and it wont let me install it.
