How to access your Data and Obb files/folders on Android 11

Hello there all.

I have been away for a while as broke my a phone. I dropped it while carrying my coffee into the living room. Now I have a new tablet, Samsung Tab A. I started to upload games again here. Every thing was going great, then i updated to Android 11. All of a sudden I could not access my data or obb files.

It took my a while but I have found and App.

There may be other Apps out there ( I did look trust me ), but this was the only on that worked for me.
Root Explorer is available too. It's the upgrade to the first App, but you have to pay for it!! Oh, wait..... we are Sbenny after all.

No. Nothing works for me. I'm operating on Android 14. I have several file managers downloaded due to trying to find one that will open the .obb files. Each file manager that I attempt to open the file on suggests I open it with other file manager apps. I really need some help.

On Android 14 this is normal behavior. Google blocked app access to Android obb and data folders, so file managers cannot open them anymore.

The only reliable way is connecting your phone to a PC and copying the OBB files from there. If the device is rooted, a root file manager will work. Without a PC or root, there is currently no working solution on Android 14.

Using RS File Manager with iAdb should work as well, without the need of a PC.
