Huawei unexpectedly launched its Mate 60 Pro yesterday and the brand has now unveiled the second member of the series with the Mate 60. The non-Pro model shares most of its key specifications with its Pro sibling, but of course there are some downgrades. First of all, the Mate 60 features a single punch-hole with the same 13MP ultrawide front camera.

The Mate 60’s display has a diagonal of 6.69 inches (compared to 6.82″ on the Mate 60 Pro) and is of the same OLED LTPO variety with a resolution of 1,216 x 2,688 px and a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz It is also protected by second generation Kunlun glass.
The phone is made from the same materials as its more expensive sibling and features the same round camera island on the back. The cameras are slightly different with a 12 MP periscope with 5x optical zoom replacing the 48 MP one present on the Mate 60 Pro. The 50 MP main unit with variable aperture f/1.4-f/4.0 and the ultrawide module are retained 12 MP.
While Huawei doesn’t specify the chipset, the Mate 60 is widely speculated to feature the Kirin 9000S SoC just like the Mate 60 Pro.
