Huawei had one of its biggest product launches in recent memory yesterday, and the TalkBand B7 was one of the most hidden new devices. It’s a follow-up to last year’s TalkBand B6 smartband/Bluetooth 2-in-1 headset and carries a mostly unchanged design with a few minor tweaks under the hood.

TalkBand B7 offers a 1.53″ AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326 ppi (188 x 460 px) housed in a stainless steel casing. The wearable is powered by the Kirin A1 chipset and pairs via Bluetooth 5.2. Huawei is marketing an improved call noise reduction algorithm and dual microphones for better voice pickup.The bracelet can also monitor heart rate and blood oxygen levels, as well as provide sports tracking for up to 10 activities.
TalkBand B7 recharges via a regular USB-C cable which is much more intuitive than the usual proprietary charging pucks. Battery life is estimated at two full days of mixed use, while a 10-minute quick charge will net you four hours of extra use. The entire package is IP57 rated for water and dust.
