We haven’t seen a new Lenovo Legion phone in a while: The Legion Y70 was announced in August last year, and it seems the reasoning behind the long hiatus is that Lenovo has discontinued its Legion gaming phone business.
A Lenovo spokesperson confirmed the departure of the Legion phone line in a statement to Android Authority describing a broader “business transformation and gaming portfolio consolidation”.

With the departure of the Legion gaming phones, the industry is left with the Asus ROG Phone line, Nubia Red Magic series, and Xiaomi’s Black Shark phones as the top three drivers.
